THE BLACK STONE (1) is the only winner in this lineup and therefore has to concede weight all round. He has produced two solid post maiden runs and could pack too many punches for this lot. HORNIG (3) appears to be the main danger after a pleasing debut performance and he will look to take advantage of the 2.5kgs that he is in receipt off. NAUTIQUE (7) should take a step forward from a fair first up run and will have more to offer. MATAKI (4) is held on form but would have learnt a bit from his debut run to earn.

HARRY DE LA BRUNIE AA (1) proved to be much the superior over the final stages last time out and would have come on a ton with that run under the belt. He can go back to back here. JAKARTA TROIS AA (7) comes into this 1kg better off at the weights with the top choice and can close the deficit. She will also be much fitter and is going to be involved. JAFAR D'ESCAR AA (2) and VERTIGO POMPADOUR AA (3) both finished behind the top two last time out but look to be the ideal inclusions for the minor spots.

Veteran runner VA S'Y MIX (7) has an excellent record at this course, and his recent effort at the end of April suggests he's edging closer to another win. DENISJONH (3) found the trip too sharp last time out, but he can bounce back now returned to a more suitable distance. GOLDEN BELLE (1) showed promise last year and makes her seasonal reappearance today, now under the care of trainer Adrien Fouassier. She could be worth a second look. EUGENE SMITH (2) arrives in good form, having put together two solid efforts over this track and trip. He must also be considered a strong contender.
