FUNWAY (2) is usually very competitive in hurdle races but has also won a chase and should be a real threat. KANDALIUS (5) and EVER FASTER (3) need to do a bit more to beat those two rivals but are capable of making the frame.

SHUTTERWOOD (1) bounced back to best with an emphatic performance and if she's in the same heart, she could be hard to oppose. WESTMINSTER FOX (8) has produced a couple of solid efforts in recent outings and should be able to get involved. ARTICHOPE (7) finished 13L behind the top choice last time out and is only 4kgs better off at the weights which inspires very little confidence that the form could be reversed. BOGADO (6) posted a creditable effort first time and can show big improvement to place.

JAN (4) was an unlucky loser on his hurdle debut. He was clear by a wide margin when a faller at Saint Malo in July. If fit from the break he can bounce back to score. AUTHORYTY SEVEN (6) needed his last run and will strip fitter this time. He has yet to win but was runner-up in a Group 2 in 2023 and will be a serious threat if finding that level of form. BELGA QUEEN (8) returns from a lengthy but does have some ability. LADY COEUR (3) can also run well returning to a hurdle race.

ILDOUCEFLECHOIS (5) won very well at this track in November and can be expected to run another huge race despite the rest. HEAVEN CITY (10) comes into the race in fine form and can be right there at the finish again. He needs to prove himself on soft going but is a must for all bets.
