With a prime location halfway between Liverpool and Manchester, Haydock Park is one of racing’s most-popular venues. You can watch flat and jumps racing at different times of the year, with Grade 1 races in both.
Haydock’s National Hunt course is oval shaped and roughly 1m 5f in length. There are tight turns to negotiate and long straights to make up ground, if needed. Sprint races are held over the straight six-furlong course.
Grand National Trial (February), Temple Stakes (May), Lancashire Oaks (July), Rose of Lancaster Stakes (August), Haydock Sprint Cup (September), Betfair Chase (November)
