Mc Loven looked stretched by 6f here last March but he had a useful field strung out turning for home on that occasion and he might not have to work too hard to lead today. He's respected, along with The Thames Boatman and recent Wolverhampton winner Many A Star, but MONSIEUR BEAULIEU (nap) might be the answer. Although he's been beaten twice since his impressive 7f win here last month, he's shown enough to suggest he is still on a dangerous mark.[Paul Smith]
