A small field but plenty of intrigue all the same. Second Name is bred to be useful and he brings an unbeaten record into the race but this is a much stiffer assignment than he faced when beating some modest opposition over C&D last time. Harry Brown has yet to fire for Peter Crate but the handicapper has taken a charitable view, dropping him a whopping 15lb in four runs, and market support would look significant. Night On Earth (second choice) is well berthed to attack and won't be easy to peg back but MASTER OF MY FATE is on the up now and he looked to have a bit up his sleeve when beating Nogo's Dream over C&D a fortnight ago.[Paul Smith]
