GAMIN DES ISLES (16) was not disgraced when fifth in the Group 3 at Maure-de-Bretagne over 2850m last month. That form looks the best on offer in this race, and he had some nice runs leading into that as well. IL VIENT DU LUDE (9) has already won twice this year at a lower grade but is not out of it. HAPPY FACE (15) has disappointed with a couple of recent disqualifications but does have ability and could contest the finish if behaving. HISTOIRE PHILS (14) likes this track but is on a long losing run.
