It will be interesting to see if there is money for French import Almeirinda on her debut for Venetia Williams, while Wild Goose (second choice) would be a player on his bumper form if putting his Plumpton mishap behind him. However, it's hard to get away from COURAGEOUS STRIKE who probably did too much in front when runner-up on his hurdles debut at Ffos Las. Dropping half a mile in trip should suit him.[David Bellingham]
