Mount Athos, winner of this race for the last two years, ought to give the hat-trick a good shot, particularly if left alone in front. It'll be fascinating to see how strong traveller Roi De France copes with dropping back in trip but James Fanshawe's HEATHCLIFF is taken to make it a perfect 4-4 over 7f. The way he finished off over 6f the last twice bodes very well.[Andrew Cooper]
