A race totally dominated by Willie Mullins in the last decade and an intriguing clash between two from that yard here in Fabiolo and GAELIC WARRIOR. The former won the race last year but lacks a recent run this time around, while the selection needs to bounce back from a C&D defeat by Solness at Christmas, with a tongue-tie fitted and back on his preferred softer ground. The presence of another confirmed and in-form front-runner in Quilixios, as well as the still unexposed Marine Nationale makes this a cracking contest. [Alan Hewison]

Top-class novice hurdler made an impressive C&D chasing debut over a year ago but has met with defeat in all three outings since, latest when only denied of second late on by Gaelic Warrior in C&D Grade 1 won by Solness at Christmas; the least experienced of these and probably open to the greater improvement but that's certainly needed to play a leading role.
