Back On The Lash proved he still has fire in his belly when running a big race on the Cheltenham cross-country course last month and, given he's effectively 18lb lower here, this race is his for the taking if he's on another going day. However, he has generally performed poorly in recent years and preference is for SENOR LOMBARDY, who made a very encouraging stable debut last month and remains very well handicapped on older form.[Chris Wilson]
