Clap Of Thunder and Julius Des Pictons (preferred in that order) have both shown a fairly useful level of hurdling form but one with potential to improve past both of them is SHADE OF WINTER, who ran promisingly over C&D on last month's seasonal/hurdle debut and, with that outing under his belt, could be a different proposition today.[Chris Wilson]
