The 8yo HUGOS NEW HORSE returns from a break with his yard flying and he pushed a solid yardstick close here on his chase debut. He never shone at 3m over hurdles but he's bred to stay and this might not be strongly run. Havaila is feared most after chasing home a talented novice at Newbury. Chris Gordon is recognised in the race title and he runs Unanswered Prayers who wants further ideally.[Alistair Jones]
