While a return to form among the others is always possible, the more recent evidence points to RI NA CUIRTE (nap), Sawpit Samantha and Impecunious, who are preferred in that order. The selection returned to form with the reinstatement of cheekpieces over C&D last time and impressed with the way he made the favourite dig deep.[Richard Austen]

Found it tough in handicaps until landing a gamble in ten-runner race over the extended 2m3f here (good) 16 days ago under Callum Pritchard, despite wandering and carrying his head high; back up 4lb in a larger field and tries a new trip, but he has to be considered.
Off the mark by a nose at Fontwell (3m2f) and close third at Ascot (3m, also on good) later in November; cheekpieces (tried once last term) returned over C&D last month and he was back to form in second of ten to an unexposed favourite; has a 4lb rise but looks a leading contender.
Last season ended with front-running win (2m, heavy) and he's on the same mark today; it's not happened for him in his three starts (2m1f, 2m5f and 2m) this term, tried in cheekpieces on latest, so new trip is given a go.
Won an Irish point and showed promise in the mud for Gordon Elliott in bumpers and maiden hurdles, at up to 3m, before ending up out of form with him last spring; latest start (third for new yard) was a step back in the right direction but he needs plenty more today with tongue tied first time.
Came good over hurdles with a clearcut success at Market Rasen (3m, good) last June and has the same mark today, but she was pulled up on her next outing and returned from a break with another three disappointing runs this year; wears headgear first time.
Hasn't offered that much since winning two bumpers last season (good/AW) and beaten 18l into fifth of 12 on handicap debut at Stratford (extended 2m6f, good; 13-2) last time; moves up in trip again.
Three chase wins at 3m+ last spring on ground ranging from good to heavy; made all at 33-1 over hurdles here (3m, soft) this February but well beaten in all three starts since, latest at Newton Abbot on Saturday.
No match for the first three when fourth of ten as well-backed favourite on handicap debut at Taunton (2m3f, soft); again shaped as if he could be a stayer when trying 2m5f at Ludlow (soft) later in February but the margin of his defeat (32l) is a concern.
0-4 in bumpers and 0-6 over hurdles but she finished vastly closer when fifth of 13 at Stratford (near 2m7f, good to soft) on latest start, in her third handicap; has the same mark today but she also looked worth a crack at today's longer trip.
Ex-Irish mare who is 0-11 in points and 0-9 as a hurdler; faded to go down by 20l at Stratford (2m, good; 12-1) last month on debut for new yard and there's now a rethink on trip.
Respected on form last spring, including his win off 2lb higher in a big field at Hereford (3m2f, good to soft); however, pulled up last June and soundly beaten in his two starts this winter, so needs a major revival with his tongue tied for the first time.
Sole win came over fences in late 2023; he's often thereabouts over hurdles, including when upped to an extended 2m4f at Plumpton 18 days ago but that was below his best 2024 efforts over shorter.
Won over the extended 2m7f in a chase at Newcastle in December and stays 3m1f, but easily the best of his three runs since saw him take a heavy fall two out on latest outing; cheekpieces are enlisted for this return to hurdling (he's 1-15 in this sphere) and he needs to be at his best.
13-race maiden who was pulled up on last four starts, back over hurdles on last three (after a lengthy layoff); wore cheekpieces on last two outings and absent since New Year's Eve.
12-race maiden (11 over hurdles) but she did finish third on the first and latest of her four starts this season, latterly when upped to 3m at Taunton (good) and staying on well from the rear; each-way claims again.
Sole win (21 races) was over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter in May 2023 off 2lb lower; has generally struggled since but, from 2lb wrong today, at least she is not so far out of the handicap as on latest outing.
