His current mark demands a career best but MR HOPE STREET was a very comfortable winner of his only previous start at about 3m and he was doing all his best work late last time at Newbury. The fresh factor heightens his appeal further when some of his rivals have been keeping themselves busy, including hard races at the Cheltenham Festival. Of those, last year's runner-up Harbour Lake did at least have an excuse in the Pertemps Final and he's second choice ahead of Zain Nights, his conqueror from 12 months ago.[Alistair Jones]
