The last-start failed favourite, ROYAL DECCAN (5), perhaps did not like racing up with the pace, and, if indeed it is so, he could make amends if waited with till the final bend. Although PERICLES (2) is likely to find the short sprint (6f) a tad sharp for his liking, the fact he is speedy could enable him to make every post a winning one. SUPERCHARGE (10), who finished in the money in both of the seasonal runs, is the best of the rest.
