Puddlesinthepark looked in excellent nick when winning at Newton Abbot in April but slight preference is for UNSPEAKABLE, who backed up his Taunton win with a decent effort in a stronger race than this.[Chris Wilson]

Dual chase winner this year; did it very stylishly from off the pace at Newton Abbot (3m2f, heavy) in April and will be fine on the quicker surface here; must be considered.
On the downgrade now and has become inconsistent but gave good account when clear second off today's mark at Fakenham (3m, good) in April and has a C&D win on his CV; helps to give Evan Williams a good hand in this race.
Runner-up in Fakenham hunter chase (3m, good) on rules debut in May 2022 but did not reappear until last season and his first two runs in handicap chases were very disappointing; needs to prove some ability remains.
Came good over fences with fast-ground win at Taunton (2m7f, good to firm) in April, his seventh attempt, and his subsequent Newton Abbot third (3m2f, good) was perfectly respectable; likely contender.
Scored at Hereford (3m1f, good) in October and ended last season with a pretty good third over that C&D; not always one to rely upon heavily but enters calculations.
Maiden pointer; returned from long absence with big run in defeat at Taunton (2m7f, good to firm) in April but was tailed off at Uttoxeter last month and it's hard to know what to expect from him here.
Unexposed after only five runs but showed no promise in novice/maiden hurdles last year and was pulled up here (2m5f, good) on last month's chase/handicap debut; needs recent wind op to have made a massive difference; 12lb out of the weights.
