Verdict
Comfortable winner here prior to faulting in Paris, JAVA FAST (10) races barefoot for the first time in Caen and despite an unfavourable draw, can still win this. Yoann Lebourgeois will be mindful of the better-placed JUANA DE SEY (2) who returns to racing clockwise after having imposed at Maure-de-Bretagne earlier in the month, and JOYAU BLUE (3) who should not be too hastily-judged for his recent Vincennes form. JIDEO STREET (7) has never disappointed here and his early-May performance stands him in good stead.
