Thriving 5yo FEACH AMACH (nap) drops in grade after winning in 0-120 company at Perth three weeks ago and, with this C&D also suitable, she can complete her hat-trick. Lillistar was 16l adrift of the selection when second here last month but has a hefty pull in the weights today and is second choice. Ex-Irish 6yo; weakened out of contention on handicap debut at Fakenham (2m4f, good; first-time cheekpieces) in January and form of subsequent C&D maiden second isn't anything to get too excited about but she remains lightly raced; returns from 97-day break today.
Transformed by combination of wind surgery and cheekpieces last month, winning over C&D (good) and at Perth (2m4f, good to soft); raised another 6lb since last time but commands respect in current mood.
Regressive 8yo who has gone more than two years without a win; ran well for a long way in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Kelso (2m5f, good) on Wednesday but needs to build on that performance here.
0-18 under rules when trained in Ireland; won five-runner maiden point for new connections last month but was pulled up when 66-1 for Kelso handicap hurdle (2m5f, good) a few days later.
Lightly raced 8yo; absent since disappointing performance 11 months ago but kept on well for second (no match for very progressive rival) when upped to 2m3f for handicap debut at Fontwell (good) two starts back and has a big role to play here if back on song after her layoff.
Came good with two hurdle wins in November (2m1f here/1m7f), and was not discredited when second of four on subsequent chasing debut; well beaten over C&D last month, after a break, but may have needed that outing and remains unexposed over 2m4f.
No match for next-time-out winner Feach Amach when second over C&D (good) last month and now 0-6 over hurdles but that was still a pretty good effort and she's 19lb better off with that rival today.
