One turf start, when well held on his introduction; no improvement from a fair AW debut, the last twice in 1m handicaps and latterly when running poorly in first-time blinkers (discarded); has been gelded and now goes up in trip on his return to turf.

All three starts at 7f on AW; 6-4 favourite for debut in November and showed some ability after blowing the start; not so good next time but beaten only around 3l at Wolverhampton (125-1) in March; has enough in her pedigree to suggest this new trip could work on turf/handicap debut; interesting.

Looked as though a longer trip would suit when second of 12 on handicap debut (8.6f) in November but he flopped when upped to an extended 1m1f (also Wolverhampton) next time, after which he was gelded; all turf runs on good to soft or slower but a quicker surface might suit; first-time blinkers.

Three qualifying runs on turf, when finishing last at around 6f; off the mark at the eighth attempt when landing a Wolverhampton handicap (9.5f) in March and was making inroads from the rear when nearly coming down over that C&D last time; switches back to turf and it would be no surprise if he leaves previous efforts on this surface well behind.

Clipsham Noble
Floundering on AW between 6f and 1m since September but he showed a lot more when fourth of nine, beaten 2l, over C&D last week (his best RPR); that was his first go at this trip and his first turf handicap, so there's a fair chance he could build on it.
