Ralph Beckett's LADY VIVIAN saw off a next-time-out winner when getting off the mark in a 1m4f Southwell maiden last time and can continue her trend for race-by-race progression and follow up on handicap debut. Way Of Stars met trouble at a crucial stage when beaten favourite on his handicap debut and might provide the main threat ahead of My Kinda Ghaiy. [Andrew Sheret]

Has an Irish Oaks entry; stamina in the family and has got better as she has stepped up in distance, getting off the mark in 1m4f Southwell maiden six weeks ago, winning going away from Wednesday's Cheshire Oaks third Caspi Star; almost certainly capable of better again on handicap and turf debut for a leading yard no stranger to success in this race.
Couldn't justify favouritism on his 1m4f Southwell handicap debut and reappearance last month, but he would have been closer than a 3l third but for meeting trouble around 2f out; remains open to progress back on turf.
His three 7f wins as a 2yo came on AW, but showed he's equally as effective on turf when second of eight at Musselburgh (1m1f, good) 25 days ago; stamina has to be taken on trust stepping up 3f in trip.
Stepped up on his two runs last autumn when fourth of ten in 1m2f Doncaster maiden (good to soft) on reappearance in March, staying on after getting outpaced; that suggests this step up to 1m4f should suit and he's a potential improver on handicap debut with cheekpieces added.
Qualified for handicaps with three AW runs over 1m, but his pedigree suggests the 4f longer trip he faces on handicap and turf debut should see him to better effect; has been gelded and also has cheekpieces added; interesting runner for stable which targets this meeting.
Fair form without progressing in novices/maiden at up to 9.5f; up in trip for handicap debut; in very good hands but others perhaps have more obvious scope for improvement.
Well held on soft-ground debut last autumn but has done well on AW since, bouncing back from a lesser effort at Kempton to make all at Southwell (1m3f) five weeks ago, her third win in her last four starts; up 4lb and against a clutch of lightly raced sorts from decent yards now.
Three runs around 1m on AW last October/November, best effort when runner-up at Kempton second occasion; her pedigree (by Australia out of a 1m4f winner) points to this longer trip suiting on this handicap and turf debut; market informative for yard which also runs My Kinda Ghaiy.
