Magna had the exposed pair No Release and Miakoda behind at Kempton last time and has a decent chance of confirming the placings, with the step back up from 7f likely to work in her favour. U S Grant is clearly felt capable of better than he's shown thus far and market support would draw the eye, retruning from a wind operation, but a chance is taken on THE KAMIKAZE KING, who drops back down in trip for his in-form yard.[Graham Wheldon]

Sister to the useful Forceful Speed, who improved with time; perhaps this one will do the same, having failed to justify support on debut last summer and finished well held twice more since; it will be interesting to see how she goes in the market.
Maiden who's been expensive to follow for two yards and goes beyond 7f for the first time in a newly added tongue-tie; fully exposed and beginning to run out of excuses, having finished behind two of these at Kempton latest.
Regressive maiden who hasn't looked to see it out in three runs beyond sprint trips; a third form of headgear and first-time tongue-tie is given a go, likely more in hope than expectation.
Only decent effort came over C&D (first-time visor) three months ago, when coming home nicely to finish second to Hashtagnotions in a fair race for the grade; a subsequent Southwell effort will need forgiving though.
Now 2lb worse off with Precious Spartan than when beating him a neck over C&D in December (both first-time visored); no headgear tonight, having since been gelded, and will be happier back at this lower level.
Longstanding maiden (7f-1m4f) who again gave his running from a wide stall at Kempton last time (picked off late by a few, including Magna, who'd sat further back); set to go well again in another new form of headgear.
Stamina on dam's side but never a factor upped to 1m4f last time; may be better judged on previous Kempton third (1m) off 3lb higher, an effort that gives him fair claims in an ordinary handicap.
Backed up her big-priced Kempton second when filling the same position last time (No Release fourth, Miakoda fifth); will appreciate the step back up to 1m on that evidence.
Finished last on his first three runs and again when favourite for a C&D nursery four months ago (pulled hard and pestered in front); since had wind surgery and is evidently felt capable of better than that.
