High Fibre and FASOL were both below par when last in action but they may end up fighting this out. Paul Nicholls' runner, who was smart on the Flat in his prime, posted two good efforts in handicaps towards the end of last season and is given the verdict in the hope his January wind op proves successful. Disguisedlimit can fare best of the others.[Chris Wilson]

Irish point winner; raced far too freely before weakening into remote third on rules debut in November but, with a hood fitted, settled better when second at Southwell (2m, good to soft) the following month; needs to improve again here but that's possible.
Fair on the Flat over middle distances and comes here after two respectable AW runs this year but raced too freely and was soundly beaten when tried once over hurdles in 2022; returns to this code with quite a lot to prove.
Disappointed at Windsor in January (made a respiratory noise; had wind op soon afterwards) but was second in handicaps at Sandown (2m, soft) and Ascot (1m7f, good to soft) towards end of last year and has strong claims in this maiden if back on song.
Useful Flat racer who ran to fair level when placed on first two hurdling starts, and was probably a shade unlucky when second over C&D (soft) on latter occasion; disappointing favourite when well-held third at Kempton (2m, good to soft) since but remains of interest in this type of event.
Fair on the Flat at around 1m2f; failed to win last year but was in reasonable form when last seen in the autumn and has realistic each-way claims if he takes well to this game at the first attempt.
Made fairly encouraging bumper debut when fourth of eight at Hereford (good to soft) in November but struggled in a stronger Windsor bumper in January and is probably one for further down the line.
Out of an unraced half-sister to smart jumper Cooldine; came good in points at sixth attempt, in soft-ground Chipley maiden last month, but has a fair bit more on his plate on this rules debut.
Maiden pointer who probably didn't achieve a great deal when last of four finishers on hurdling debut at Market Rasen (2m, good to soft) last month; not the most obvious answer.
Related to three jumps winners from this stable, most notably fair chaser Back By Midnight; dam a point winner; wears a hood on debut and seems unlikely to meet the standard required.
Has a good Flat pedigree but made an inauspicious debut for the Crisford stable last May and has not raced again since; now with new trainer for hurdling career.
