Seasmoke and Nowyouvebinandunit will benefit if the ground dries out, while handicap newcomer Pearl's Pirate and Summerleaze are worth monitoring in the market. ARCTIC ANGEL showed enough when third at Chepstow last time to suggest that a race like this is within her reach, especially if she jumps with a bit more fluency.[David Bellingham]

Reverts to hurdles having been pulled up in two of her three starts over fences since joining this yard; favourably treated on her best form in Ireland, but a record of 0-27 under rules doesn't inspire.
Well held in a bumper and two completed starts over hurdles; still early days and takes a big step up in trip on handicap debut, but a leap of faith is required nonetheless.
Off the mark at Market Rasen (2m5f, good) last May and looked to need the run after nine months off when a well-beaten fourth of 12 at Huntingdon (2m4f, good to soft) 18 days ago; possibilities if the outing has brought her on and the ground continues to dry out.
Beaten a long way in his first four starts over hurdles and although second of ten behind a dual subsequent winner at Wincanton (2m6f, good to soft) last month, still finished 26l behind that rival; probably needs the cheepieces to bring about a bit more improvement.
Improved on previous efforts over hurdles when third of nine on handicap debut at Chepstow (2m4f, heavy) in January (runner-up won over fences next time); possibilities off the same mark, especially if jumping better.
Beaten a long way in three starts over hurdles after showing some ability in his sole bumper; however, he may appreciate this much greater stamina test now handicapping and is well worth monitoring in the market.
Ran with credit to finish fourth in his first two starts over hurdles (both 2m novices) after joining this yard early last year, but having been raised in trip he hasn't finished within 26l of the winner in four handicaps since; cheekpieces will need to make a big difference.
Showed ability for Tim Dennis last year, as when second of 14 at Taunton (3m, good) in April; beaten a very long way in only completed start for previous yard but, having changed hands again (for 7,000gns) in December, is well worth a market check starting out for Olly Murphy after 140 days off; drying ground may help.
Placed in two of his four starts in bumpers for Robert Bevis in the first half of 2023, but well beaten in five outings over hurdles (including both since rejoining this yard from Nigel Twiston-Davies); hard to fancy.
Won twice over fences in November 2023 including here (2m7f, soft); 12lb lower than for his latest success, but 0-16 over hurdles and has been performing poorly in general since the start of last year; look elsewhere.
0-15 under rules; ran his best race when second of six at Fakenham (3m, good) last month, but was found wanting for stamina when well beaten at Hereford (3m1f, good) on Saturday; enough to prove after that.
0-10 but made the frame three times at around 2m4f on good ground for Simon Earle in the summer of 2023; needed her return from 477 days off in December and was brought down early on stable debut at Fontwell 15 days ago; could make an impact if the ground continues to dry out.
