Not many of these are solid. Despite not looking an easy ride Manton Road has to be respected having finished first past the post in both starts last month, but preference is for JONNY GARLIC who showed plenty of improvement when runner-up in a slightly better contest on handicap debut at Lingfield ten days ago.[David Bellingham]

Well held in three starts over 6f for Karl Burke last summer but having been off for over five months he ran much better on stable/handicap debut when beaten a length into second of ten at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) ten days ago; up 1lb but this is a weaker contest and he seems sure to be right there.
Well held in three maidens on AW/turf in the autumn (6f-1m) and failed to beat a rival on nursery debut at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) in December; hard to recommend despite the drop in grade.
Astronomical prices and well beaten in all three starts as a 2yo (6f/1m), the latest on stable/AW debut at Chelmsford (1m, Polytrack) in December; best watched on handicap debut unless market suggests otherwise.
First past the post at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) last month, but was demoted having bumped his nearest rival late on; again tended to hang when winning by half a length here (7f) a week later and doesn't look an easy ride, but he is still high on the list in this field from 2lb higher.
Huge prices and well held in three novices (5f/6f) as a 2yo and little improvement when fifth of eight on handicap debut here (7f) 12 days ago; more needed and not sure to be suited by stepping up again in trip.
Big prices in all five starts and although fourth of seven on handicap debut at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) last month, still finished 11l behind the demoted Manton Road; plenty more required.
Showed a little ability in two of her eight starts last year, as when fourth of ten at Chelmsford (1m, Polytrack; first-time cheekpieces) in November, but still more will be needed if she is to break her duck.
Big prices and was beaten in three 6f Windsor novices last year and little better when sixth of eight on handicap/AW debut at Lingfield (5f, Polytrack) last month; some encouragement for this big step up in trip on pedigree, but she still has plenty to prove.
Has failed to beat a rival in four starts, the latest when sent off second-favourite for his nursery/AW debut following wind surgery at Chelmsford (6f, Polytrack) in October; has been gelded since and cheekpieces are now enlisted; interesting to see if his backers return.
