The unexposed Forest Spirit is respected on her return having proved she can go well fresh, while Albert Lasker and Arc Zoosve would hold solid claims on the form of their penultimate starts. However, it may be worth siding with BLACK SMOKE who has dropped 3lb lower than for the latest of his two C&D wins, with Rossa Ryan looking an interesting booking.[David Bellingham]

Lightly raced filly who didn't show much in three novices at around 1m last winter, but much better on handicap debut when beaten a short head here (1m4f) in September; off another four months since and up 3lb, but she has proved she can go well fresh and her pedigree is encouraging for the longer trip; shortlisted.
Placed several times before making it 14th-time lucky at Southwell (1m6f, Tapeta) in December; not so good off this mark at Chelmsford (1m6f, Polytrack) three weeks ago, but one for the shortlist if putting that performance behind him.
Eight-race maiden who seemed to be edging towards a first win before reportedly finishing lame at Southwell in December; had previously run the prolific Carlton to half a length at Chelmsford (1m6f, Polytrack) and a return to that form would give him every chance.
0-18 under rules; latest narrow defeat at Lingfield (2m, Polytrack) came in a slowly run race, but the winner has gone in again since to give the form some substance; frame material but others preferred for the win.
Lingfield turf winner (2m, good to firm; first-time cheekpieces) last summer, but not matched that form since and made a low-key stable debut over C&D last month; back off the same mark as for her win but others are still more persuasive.
Just 3-30 albeit two of his wins came over C&D, the latest on his return from a break in September; ordinary efforts of late but is now 3lb lower than for that latest success; apprentice-ridden in his last eight starts, but Rossa Ryan rides him for the first time today; interesting.
Regressive nine-race maiden who finished well beaten on her return from 311 days off here (8.6f; 125-1) in December; hard to make a case for back up in trip.
0-8; not disgraced when fourth in his first two starts for this yard here (1m6f/16.5f) late last year, but modest at Chelmsford (1m6f, Polytrack) last month when just behind Black Smoke; first-time cheekpieces and return to this track some cause for optimism.
