Off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles at Fairyhouse three weeks ago having run well in two maiden hurdles previously; not the strongest form and he'll need a big step forward markedly up in grade.

Hello Neighbour
Unbeaten in three starts, two Flat wins before justifying favouritism in a Grade 2 here on St Stephen's Day, holding on grimly in the closing stages to get the better of re-opposing Lady Vega Allen; was keen early in that contest and a hood is now reached for; should be a major player if the headgear works.

Some smart juvenile form in France last year before 200,000euros sale and finished 7l behind Hello Neighbour and Lady Vega Allen on yard debut on St Stephen's Day; will need to settle better to have any hope of reversing form but that first run in 201 days may help take the edge off; might ultimately appreciate a bit further than this.

Wendrock
Two promising runs for Lucinda Russell before 82,000gns yard switch and improved on his yard debut at Navan to win a maiden hurdle here in December; his latest piece of form has taken a knock or two so he's going to need improvement.

Shaped well behind Nietzsche Has (subsequent Chepstow Grade 2 winner retired to stud) when runner-up in Auteuil Listed race but turned over at 1-4 on yard debut at Fairyhouse (Grade 3) and behind a few of these in Grade 2 over Christmas (failed to settle in first-time hood - retained); almost certainly more to come at some stage but hard to envisage him landing this.

Galileo Dame
Useful on the Flat (rated 96) and encouraging hurdle bow behind Wendrock when beaten 2l here in December; entitled to improve from that first outing over timber but others bring stronger form to the table.

Lady Vega Allen
Nice pedigree and won her sole start in France before narrow defeat to Hello Neighbour in a Grade 2 here on yard bow; closed all the way to the line and claims of reversing that form but Townend prefers Sainte Lucie.

Sainte Lucie
Stayed on okay for third in a juvenile mares' contest at Auteuil; the form of that race took a few knocks but she couldn't have been any more impressive when landing a Punchestown maiden hurdle on debut for this yard in December; the second, third and fourth have all hit the crossbar since, so the form looks okay and there's probably more to come from her, making her the one to beat with Townend on.
