Verdict
Terrifically-entered at the limit of earnings, JAPPELOUP TURGOT (16) may have something of a chequered history at Laval but he has turned a corner lately and will take all the beating. That being said, JASMIN DU VALLON (9) has finished runner-up to him twice at Vincennes recently and once again looks the principal threat. The tricky but talented JEWEL DE BANVILLE (15) was sanctioned on his re-entry just over a month ago, but is shod to preference and has had time to recalibrate. Clearly in form but out of sorts last time here, JEUNE AMI (10) reverts to a previous configuration and will be no easy touch if Alexandre Abrivard can keep him focused.
