Newcastle Premier League guide: The latest fixtures, results, team news and Newcastle odds
Newcastle have strung together six games unbeaten and climbed towards the top four in the Premier League. Last weekend they held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, before beating Everton 1-0 in a game that was far more comfortable than the scoreline suggests. Miguel Almiron got the only goal and the Magpies continued their outstanding defensive record so far this season.
After 11 games, Newcastle are in the top six of the table – and just two points behind Chelsea who sit in the final Champions League place. It’s shaping up to be an exciting season on Tyneside.
We’ve taken a look at all you need to know about Newcastle – from their next league game, to the latest football betting odds.
When is the next Newcastle Premier League fixture?
Newcastle’s next game is away at Spurs on Sunday, kicking off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 16:30. The Magpies have a poor recent record at Spurs, winning just one of their last 10 in the Premier League there.
Spurs, though, have lost two of their last four games in the league – as many as they had in their previous 21. With the top four in reach, a win for Newcastle in north London would be a massive result for a side that looks to be on the up.
What are the odds that Newcastle win their next game?
Newcastle are 5/2 to beat Spurs on Sunday and close the gap on the north London side. The Magpies have lost just once on the road in the league so far this season, although three out of their five away games have finished level – another draw in this one is also 5/2.
No team has kept more clean sheets in the league this season than Newcastle, and the Magpies have also conceded fewer goals than any other side. Can their obdurate defence shut down Harry Kane and co? A Newcastle clean sheet is 10/3, and the Magpies are 8/11 to keep Spurs to no more than a single goal.
Kieran Trippier is enjoying a fine season for Newcastle: no player in the Premier League has created as many chances from set-pieces as Trippier has so far this campaign. He’s created four or more chances in three different games already this season, and is 2/1 to get another assist on Sunday. Trippier is 10/1 to pick up two or more assists in the game.

What is the latest Newcastle injury and transfer news?
Joelinton is a doubt with a knock, but Newcastle are hopeful he’ll be fit to face Spurs. Allan Saint-Maximin looks like being out until mid-November, though, with a hamstring problem. Alexander Isak’s thigh injury may keep him sidelined until after the World Cup, with Matt Ritchie also ruled out until December at the earliest.
Who are Newcastle’s key players?
Callum Wilson was the Magpies’ top-scorer last season and continues to lead the line this year, along with new signing Alexander Isak. Nick Pope has been outstanding in goal, while Bruno Guimaraes, Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron bring plenty of creativity to the attack.

What are the Newcastle odds to finish in the top six of the Premier League?
Newcastle are 9/4 to finish in the top six of the Premier League after their strong start to the season. The Magpies ended last season in brilliant form and have continued that into this campaign, with several exciting new recruits from the summer transfer window.
Who is the manager of Newcastle?
Eddie Howe’s appointment as Newcastle coach in 2021 coincided with a takeover of the club and an immediate uplift in fortunes.
