Brocklesby runner-up SON OF SARABI hardly has the best of draws but it's a similar story for Logi Bear who looks a big threat. Both colts shaped with considerable promise on their debuts. Havana Hurricane is another drawn low but it's interesting that Charles Bishop presumably prefers him over previous winner Kesta. Secret Santa's pedigree is all speed and, from the same yard as Logi Bear, the market should be informative as regards his expectations.[Alistair Jones]

Green when a 20-1 second at Wolverhampton and wiser to the job in hand when always prominent at Brighton to win fairly readily; has the penalty in what's probably a stronger race and Charles Bishop, who was aboard on debut, rides Havana Hurricane.
20,000gns yearling; eighth foal; half-brother to five winners including Fox Leicester (1m-10.6f; RPR 93), Pop Dancer (5f; 90), My Mate Ted (1m; 83) and Hearitfortheboys (6f; 70); dam Listed-placed 6f 2yo winner (98); stable not renowned for 2yo winners; would need to see confidence behind him.
35,000euros yearling; 13th foal; closely related to 1m/10.6f winner Keukenhof (RPR 75) and half-brother to five further winners including River Boyne (1m-1m1f; 111) and Harome (5f/6f; 97); dam maiden (55) half-sister to smart miler Ventiquattrofogli; market needs checking.
25,000euros yearling; second foal; dam unraced half-sister to winners Epicuris (1m2f 2yo Group 1), Indeed (smart 1m-1m2f) and Austere (US 1m 2yo Listed); likely best watched.
Half-brother to two winning sprinters and his dam was quick; took a while for the penny to drop last week at Leicester (5f, good) but nothing finished stronger; needs considering, for all that being drawn on the wing is anything but ideal.
36,000gns yearling; fourth foal; half-brother to 5f 2yo winner Storm Call (RPR 82); dam placed 6f-8.4f (75), half-sister to German 1m Group 2 winner Electrelane and useful 5f-1m winner Imperialistic Diva; in a top yard so market instructive.
12th foal; closely related to 5f/6f winner Fort Del Oro (including Listed; RPR 109) and half-brother to four winners including Gyldan (5f; 87) and Xanthe (5f 2yo; 83); dam won the Queen Mary; bred to be quick and has a positive draw.
9,000gns yearling; first foal out of a sprint maiden (RPR 52) and half-sister to 6f winner At A Clip; not drawn great but interesting that Charles Bishop presumably prefers him over winning stablemate Kesta.
8,000gns yearling; eighth foal; closely related to winners Zuhair (7f-8.4f; RPR 82) and Star Mind (7f; 77), half-brother to winners Gallovie (6f-8.5f; 86) and Pink Storm (5f; 76); dam Listed-placed 1m 2yo winner (87); stable's 2yos already off the mark.
Showed plenty of speed in the Brocklesby (5f, good to soft) before narrowly outpointed by the Hannon-trained favourite; a few in behind at Doncaster have run well since but he has to overcome a low draw.
5,000gns foal who was 33-1 at Newmarket (5f, good to soft) but showed pace before going down by only 4l to a well-touted Hannon newcomer; that was an encouraging start.
Half-sister to 5f 2yo winner Havana Gila (RPR 80); dam 6f AW winner (89), half-sister to useful 6f/7f winner Paws For Thought; Jim Crowley 3-14 for the stable.
