Tropical Heat is a contender on form having finished a promising second on last summer's Salisbury debut, but the draw hasn't been kind. Cuban Lady showed plenty of ability when runner-up on her Southwell debut in the autumn, while the 4yo Dubai Beach (second choice) also has the form to figure, but FRENCH SAND deserves to go one better after finishing second in both starts over C&D last month. The form of her latest outing has since been franked by the winner.[David Bellingham]

Both starts at Kempton a year apart, sent off 8-15 when beaten a length into second of four (1m) in November; winner landed a handicap next time and this trip may be more suitable on breeding; shouldn't be far away.
Sent off 33-1 for her Southwell debut (6f, Tapeta) in November, but showed plenty of promise in staying on into second of ten (first and third have won since); shortlisted if building on that.
Runner-up in both starts over C&D last month and although beaten further on the second occasion, the winner of that race went on to land a 0-100 handicap at Newmarket; looks the one to beat.
Useful form in a couple of turf maidens last summer, especially when beaten a neck at Nottingham (6f, good to firm); found the trip too sharp at Southwell (5f, Tapeta) in October, but a player back over this distance if ready to roll after six months off.
Showed promise when third of eight on her Salisbury debut (6f, good to firm) last summer (just behind Tropical Heat) and faced a stiff task in a Newmarket sales event (6f, good to soft) in October; half-sister and dam both won on the AW and worth a market check back from seven months off.
Beaten only half a length on her debut for Ger Lyons at Naas (5f, good) last July, but regressed in her next two starts, the latest at Dundalk (5f, Polytrack) in November; makes her stable debut (same owners) after six months off and the market should be revealing.
7-2 when a promising second of eight (just ahead of May Encounter) on her Salisbury debut (6f, good to firm) last July; a player if in similar form back from nine months off, though she has an awkward draw.
Steadily progressive in three starts and had two of these behind when beaten a neck at Southwell (6f, Tapeta) this month; has the form to figure, but the outside stall isn't ideal; non-runner.
