Ex-David Simcock; losing run goes back three years and he's been off for a year but he has won on Fibresand here and was 22lb higher than today than when going close over C&D in 2022; likely to need a run or two but worth looking out for with the future in mind.

Eva Rosie
She's not had a lot of chances at this sort of trip and has been in fine form this year, winning her second 1m2f race at Newcastle more readily than the neck margin suggests; up 3lb; didn't appear beaten by the 1m3f trip here the time before and looks worth another go at it; good claims.

L'immortale
Overcame a troubled passage when getting up late to win a 1m2f classified at Lingfield on second start for this yard but he just couldn't pick up over the shorter trip at Wolverhampton (about 1m) next time; unraced here but acts on Tapeta and remains of interest with more suitable test.

Weighted to win another race on the AW but he wasn't at his best when back from a break towards the end of 2024, including over C&D, and returns from another one today; others look more likely.

Absolutely Not
Promising debut last spring but she completed her qualifying runs with two minor efforts and, although worth a go at this trip on pedigree, she didn't look to be wanting to go any further when not finding much on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (extended 1m) in March.

Sun Festival
Has been running creditably in classified events on Tapeta but he had no answer to L'Immortale's burst over 1m2f at Lingfield last month and this first 1m3f run for two years raises stamina questions.

Only lightly raced but was never involved on handicap debut at Chelmsford (1m2f; 40-1) in November and needs lots more for the extra furlong and first-time hood.

Sunset In Paris
Five AW wins at about 1m2f; fair fourth in Wolverhampton classified in February and no quarter given at Lingfield (1m2f) since, albeit L'Immortale would have been an unlucky loser; has 4lb weights turnaround and Rossa Ryan is 3-4 on him; still queries about this trip and surface switch.

Not yet managed a win but in good form for this yard and in theory there shouldn't be much between him and Eva Rosie on Newcastle form (1m2f) last month; has more to prove on previous runs at 1m3f, though.

Maiden who has a race in her on best 1m3f efforts on turf for previous yard but she hasn't as yet looked like taking advantage of a falling mark, including in cheekpieces (retained) latest.

Three Chelmsford wins at 6f-7f; lightly raced these days and the big step up to 2m here last time was always likely to pose a problem; seems likely to find this trip too far as well.

Multiple winner at up to 2m but he's on a losing run and doesn't beat many now; all to prove.
