There are plenty with a chance here but the vote goes to SENOR LOMBARDY who ran well when second at Wetherby back in October. Ballydisco and the unexposed So Many Roads are two others to consider.[Colin Russell]

0-12 over fences but has won a bumper, a hurdle and five points; creditable second to a subsequent dual winner at Wetherby in October (3m, good to soft) but an early casualty next time; contender.
Has won five races over fences, the latest off this mark over C&D in October (good to soft); hasn't been in quite such good form since (14l last of four last time).
Won a Kelso novice handicap in October 2023 (2m7f, soft); series of good runs after that; well beaten both starts in December when back from a break; bit to prove at present.
Ex-Philip Hobbs/Johnson White; dual hurdle winner (including on testing ground) but yet to win over fences, although came close when head second at Wetherby in November (3m, good); fair efforts since; one to consider.
Veteran; has a good strike rate over fences, latest of nine wins coming at Kelso in December (3m2f, good to soft); not quite so good last time, but wouldn't rule out.
Winner over hurdles here in January 2023 (2m4f, heavy); fair fourth in a novice handicap at Wetherby on chase debut earlier this month (2m3f, soft) on second run after a wind operation; should build on that; interesting back up in trip.
C&D hurdles winner in March 2022; won for first time since then when landing handicap chase at Carlisle last time (3m, soft); up 8lb; should go well again.
19-race maiden; sound efforts over fences the last twice, finishing third at Newcastle (2m4f, good to soft) and second over C&D (good to soft); each-way chance, but stiffer task as he is 7lb out of the handicap here.
