Rebel's Gamble looked a useful prospect when winning at Southwell three weeks ago and has strong claims despite his 7lb penalty. That said, RAINBOW NEBULA also made an encouraging start to his career here last month and he could take a good step forward with that outing under his belt.[Paul Smith]

Brother to Ayr Gold Cup winner Nahaarr (RPR 119); created a positive impression when winning a 6f novice at Southwell on his debut three weeks ago and he's a key contender despite his 7lb penalty.
Second in two of his nine starts as a 2yo, including over C&D in October; raced too freely when favourite in a Southwell nursery six weeks ago (first run after a gelding operation); should run his race but vulnerable to improvers.
Attracted some support on last month's C&D debut and he made an encouraging start, looking in need of the experience but keeping on steadily for third (first four pulled well clear); he ran the fastest sectional for each of the last three furlongs on that occasion and if he's more professional at the start today he'll take some beating.
9,000gns foal, 9,00gns yearling; second foal of an unraced mare, herself closely related to some useful sprinters; one of two newcomers for the stable.
21,000euros yearling, 38,000euros breeze-up 2yo; tenth foal; half-sister to six winners, notably Listed-placed Andhesontherun (RPR 95); dam a 6f 2yo/1m2f winner (89); one of two newcomers for the stable.
Has shown promise in her three starts but others in the field have achieved more and she will need improvement for the addition of a hood (raced freely over C&D latest).
