Lightly raced OUR HAVANA did well to go close at Newcastle considering he pulled hard following a layoff. He may be more settled this time and is taken to go one better. Harvard Sound, who remains of interest back down in distance, is second choice. Several of the others arrive in winning form and give this race a competitive look. Being better than ever and on a roll, Angel Of Antrim is the third choice.[Steve Boow]

Has gained both wins at about 1m but last few efforts suggest this drop back to 7f won't be an issue; however, likely needs a career-best performance to defy top weight in this field.
Absent since looking a non-stayer in better race over 1m eight weeks ago; broadly progressive over 7f (including at Southwell) otherwise, producing form figures of 2113; possibilities back down in trip/grade.
Impressive in Class 6 at Wolverhampton 11 days ago, completing a quickfire 7f four-timer; hit with another hefty rise in the weights and steps up two grades but he is better than ever; shortlisted.
Switched to front-running the last twice, winning a novice event at Wolverhampton (easy task) then disappointing in C&D handicap; widest draw is not ideal if same tactics are attempted.
Defied a higher mark on turf in 2022; lightly raced and inconsistent since; below par at Newcastle when belatedly returned to AW last time and doesn't look the percentage call.
Successful in five AW races but the last three were against her own sex, most recently at Wolverhampton in December; ran creditably there last week; now returns to open company.
Successful in her last three attempts over 6f at this venue, the latest in difficult circumstances (slowly away and detached early); likely player provided she's as good back at 7f.
Belied his 40-1 odds with C&D success 12 days ago, taking AW record to 5-16, and this 8yo is still favourably treated on peak form; lack of recent consistency is the negative.
Oldest contender in this field but retains plenty of ability and justified favouritism here last time, beating a subsequent scorer and taking Southwell record to 5-14; may remain competitive.
Lightly raced 4yo who won at Newmarket last April; solid second, despite pulling hard, at Newcastle (7f) last month on AW debut; may have further progress in him, especially if settling better; warrants respect.
Has recorded his wins over 1m/1m2f and never figured in C&D event on most recent Flat start (achieved nothing over hurdles since); best to look elsewhere.
