Only half a length separated Nautical Force and Tribal Nation at the Curragh and the step up to a mile could enable Joseph O'Brien's charge to turn that form around. County Mayo should come on for his debut effort but narrow preference is for BRANDON CREEK. There was plenty to like about his debut at the Curragh and he wasn't far behind subsequent maiden winner Genealogy. Andrew Oliver's newcomers Red King and Faro Island are worth a market check, as is Drucker. [Dave Stephens]

This son of Earthlight was sent off at 18-1 for his debut at the Curragh (1m, good) and he ran a promising race to finish sixth of 12, 4.25l behind the winner and only 2.5l behind the runner up Genealogy, a winner at Punchestown earlier this week; with improvement likely, he should be thereabouts in this.
This colt's dam is a sister to Illinois and he shaped like he needed a trip on his debut when a 12.25l fourth on his debut at Tipperary (1m1f, good); like most runners from this yard, he'll likely improve plenty for that experience and he can't be completely discounted.
12-1 for his first outing at the Curragh in June (7f, good) and never really got into the race after a sluggish start; he's another potential improver on his second start but he hasn't been seen for 84 days and others have more pressing claims.
Cost $47,000 as a foal and that rose to $70,000 as a yearling; first foal; dam US 1m dirt/turf winner, half-sister to US 6.5f dirt stakes winner Settecento, out of maiden half-sister to Canadian 6f/7f stakes winner R U Watchingbud; Instilled Regard debutant is from a respected source and is worth a market check.
One of two runners for yard; 35,000gns yearling; fourth foal; half-brother to 6f winner Benefit (including Listed/AW; RPR 108); dam 6f/7f AW winner (84), half-sister to useful 1m winner Restive Spirit, out of 6f 2yo Group 1 winner Hooray; Ulysses colt is nicely bred and yard can ready one; market check advised.
Ghaiyyath gelding was 25-1 for his Curragh debut (7f, good) last month but he ran a big race to finish fourth, just 3l behind the winner (Tribal Nation fifth); the runner-up was beaten 1.5l behind Genealogy at Punchestown earlier this week; closely matched with Brandon Creek on that form and makes the shortlist.
Second of two runners for yard; 35,000gns yearling; eighth foal; closely related to 1m1f-10.7f winner Danchai (RPR 104), half-brother to 1m2f/11.6f Flat (95) Thistimenextyear; dam unraced half-sister to 7f/1m Group 1 winner Sky Lantern; Camelot colt looks the yard's first string and shaped with promise in a Leopardstown barrier trial; check the market.
This 155,000gns Wootton Bassett colt was 5/1 for his debut at the Curragh (7f, good) and finished 0.5l behind Nautical Force in fifth; step up to a mile should suit; could be plenty more to come and it would be no surprise were he to turn that form around; entered in the Group 2 Royal Lodge and Beresford Stakes; leading claims.
