She can be awkward and is not without risk but BROOMFIELD GALE arrives here in very good form and is taken to add to last month's Stratford win. Trevor's Lad went close over 3m2f here recently and is second choice, ahead of Coup De Gold.[Chris Wilson]

Temperamental mare who refused to race in January and ran out in April; however, she won in good style by 11l at Stratford (2m6f, good) last month and ran well in defeat under a penalty at Worcester (2m4f, good) a few days later; major player if in the right mood again here.
Ex-Irish maiden; remote when second in Stratford novice (2m6f, good) on last month's stable debut and just a respectable fourth of seven in Ffos Las handicap (3m, good) soon afterwards; needs to find extra here.
0-9 over hurdles but placed three times this year, most recently when close second here (3m2f, good) last month; went up 4lb for that run but should be fine over today's shorter trip and probably won't be far away.
Displayed significant improvement to win by 6l over C&D (good) on handicap debut in November but can't really blame the slower ground for his two subsequent lesser efforts; now has a point to prove.
Rather inconsistent since joining Evan Williams last spring and has very modest career strike-rate (2-72) but ran on well to snatch third at Ffos Las (2m4f, good) last month and remains on a workable mark.
Arguably ran a bit better than eventual 24l defeat suggests when sixth here (3m2f, good; Trevor's Lad close second) last month and may benefit from today's drop back in trip but, overall, his hurdling record is poor.
