Present Fair and Wee Alki (preferred in that order) both seem likely to run well again but TINY ANGEL was given quite a bit to do before keeping on well for fourth at Downpatrick last month and gets the vote here in the hope the new cheekpieces have a positive effect. 5-30 over hurdles, the latest win gained at Carlisle (2m3f, good) in April; can cope with some rain here but needs to rebound from a below-par run at Perth last month.
Irish-trained maiden who has become very inconsistent and finished well down the field at Down Royal last month, after a break; still worth a glance in the betting here, though.
Won in first-time cheekpieces at Musselburgh (2m4f, good to soft) in February and went close in first-time visor at Perth (2m4f, good) last month but has very mixed record since the autumn and it's hard to predict whether the visor will continue to keep him motivated.
Dual winner since cheekpieces were added in January, latterly at Kelso (2m2f, good) in April; not beaten far when sixth at Perth (2m4f, good) last month but probably needs a career-best effort here.
Unplaced all eight hurdling starts but stayed on from off the pace for respectable fourth at Downpatrick (2m6f, good) a fortnight ago and has possibilities here if the new cheekpieces give him a boost.
Runner-up over C&D (soft; first-time visor) a year ago and went one better over 2m here (good) a fortnight later; returned from layoff with 40l defeat here last month but might have needed that outing and is back on a good mark now; swaps cheekpieces for refitted visor.
Came good with two wins in November (2m1f/1m7f); returned from break with two low-key runs this spring but remains unexposed over 2m4f and James King is an interesting jockey booking.
Getting very long in the tooth now and was out of form under rules last year but came second in two points under Cameron Hillhouse last month and is not ruled out off his lowly hurdle mark.
Came from off the pace to win under Emma Brown at Perth (3m, good to soft) in April and posted another good effort at Kelso (3m, good) last month; should also be suited by this stiff 2m4f; enters calculations.
Safely held at triple-digit odds in three novice/maiden hurdles last June/July and returned from break with modest fifth in a maiden point last month; still very unexposed under rules, though, and has a lowly opening mark.
Placed off 1lb higher here (2m, good) last June and might have needed last month's reappearance run (tailed off before last-flight fall) but he's 0-10 over hurdles now and and others appeal more; cheekpieces refitted.
