The market can help sort out the newcomers, of whom Eyes Front and Eclipser make most appeal on breeding, but they have a good standard to aim at. Dapper Charm and Ahead Of Fashion are both of interest but RISING EMPIRE is preferred. Andrew Balding's juvenile shaped with considerable promise on his Leicester debut and he can leave that run well behind over today's extra furlong.[Paul Smith]

Promising seventh, beaten under 3l, in the Brocklesby on debut; showed bright speed when making all the running at Kempton two weeks ago but he hung left in the straight and the interference he caused the runner-up was deemed significant enough to reverse the placings; effectively a winner without a penalty and his early pace will be an asset; solid contender.
Made a promising debut when fourth at Newbury (5f, good) but he was well below that form at Leicester two weeks later; tongue-tie is now added and has something to prove after that last run.
Good second on his Brighton debut (5.3f, good to firm) last month; similar form when turned over at long odds-on back at Brighton 19 days ago and the winner did that form no harm with a solid run in Listed company at York last week; should give it another good go.
May foal; 12,000gns foal; half-brother to four winners including Inishfallen (Group-placed 6f AW 2yo; RPR 100) and Hurt You Never (prolific 5f/6f; 79); dam French 7.5f-1m1f winner; enough paper appeal to warrant a second look.
April foal; fourth foal; half-brother to 6f 2yo winner Corinthian Kid (RPR 75); dam placed 6f (including 2yo; 72); fair standard to aim at on debut and likely best watched.
February foal; 5,000gns foal, 18,000gns yearling; ninth foal; half-brother to winners Copinet (5f/6f including 2yo/AW; RPR 90) and Fast Pulchra (Italian 1m-10.6f); dam placed 7f AW in France (71); stable 0-6 (one placed) with 2yos this year.
Shaped with a great deal of promise when a fast-finishing fourth of 15 at Leicester three weeks ago (5f, good; form looks solid); open to plenty of improvement over the extra furlong and with the benefit of experience.
Beaten 6-5 favourite on her Bath debut last month (winner followed up under a penalty); only midfield at Ascot ten days ago; others make more appeal for a stable that also run Coyy.
April foal; 11,000euros yearling; third foal; half-sister to 6f AW winner Pandora's Gift (including 2yo/Listed; RPR 112); dam a well-related 5f winner (90); lots to like on paper.
March foal; 6,000gns foal, 14,000gns yearling; second foal of a 1m2f winner in France, herself from a good family; stable not know for their 2yo exploits.
