Gelded after his successful stable debut at Kempton during the winter (1m handicap; 5lb lower) and was returning from a break when fifth of the eight runners at Newmarket (1m, good); that was a competitive race but so is this.
Appeared to justify some market confidence when flooring the Wood Ditton runner-up at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) and this mark might be workable on handicap debut; Silvestre De Sousa is a positive booking.
230,000gns yearling; made his debut at 1m and last two runs over 7f, last time at Doncaster (good to firm) sent off long odds-on and beating an improver with the pair well clear; going the right way and has plenty of potential to raise current mark.
Has looked green in both his AW races, winning at Newcastle (7f) and then close up under his penalty at Southwell (1m); the winner of the latter race was disappointing behind Rogue Diplomat next time, but this Kingman colt is open to considerable improvement and has been gelded.
Did it well in a Leicester novice (7f, good to firm) but was never that threatening when sent off favourite for handicap debut at Newmarket (good); might not have handled the track that day and there's probably more to come.
Similar profile to Regalian in that he's well bred and now gelded, having won on debut (here over 6f) and then placed under a penalty (7f, AW); dangerously unexposed now entering handicaps.
Consistent last season when a 6f maiden winner and a four-time runner-up (6f/7f); left the impression that his Newmarket return was needed (7f handicap, good) and he should stay this far.
Novice/nursery winner at two; seemed to need his comeback race and then stuck on nicely for second over Beverley's extended 7f (good); looks ready for this return to 1m (second attempt).
7f maiden winner last year and then highly tried; held a Derby entry when a weakening seventh on handicap debut at Sandown (1m2f, good) and this trip might be a better fit right now; not entirely dismissed.
Gelded ahead of getting off the mark at the seventh attempt in a 7f handicap at Kempton and probably better again when second at Newmarket (7f, good), where Gilet and Rogue Diplomat were further back; 1m won't be an issue on pedigree and Ryan Moore takes over.
Progressed to win his final start as a 2yo (7f AW) and then gelded; couldn't land a blow upped to 1m for his handicap debut at Newmarket (good) but he was weak in the market and didn't run badly; remains of interest.
No wins in five but he was close up behind Regalian at Southwell in March and looked threatening to a point when 7-1 for his handicap debut over 1m2f at Newmarket; didn't appear to get home and he's now back in trip with a visor added; each-way claims.
