Reappears carrying a 5lb penalty but he was a Listed, Group 3 and Group 2 winner last season, and his defeat of Big Mojo and Magnum Force in the Flying Childers reads extremely well; strong claims.
Made all in two 5f AW novice races in December; fair efforts in handicaps the next twice, including when denied a clear run at Sandown most recently, but he looks up against it now up in grade.
Close Listed fourth at Ayr (5f, good) last September and won Haydock nursery (5f, soft) seven days later; however, merely seventh in France the last twice and improvement is needed in first-time cheekpieces.
Best 2yo effort came when close third in the Group 3 Molecomb at Goodwood (5f, good to firm; Aesterius second); creditable Listed fourth behind Tropical Storm over this C&D next time; reappeared with good second at Chelmsford (6f, AW) and the return to 5f could be a plus; possible player.
Opposable on the vast majority of his form, including both runs this year; however, his standout performance came on his sole visit to York, when a Listed third of 16 behind Tropical Storm over C&D (good to firm) last August; not ruled out each-way now back here.
Runner-up in Group 2 Norfolk at Royal Ascot and won Listed race over this C&D (good to firm) last August; fair fourth to Aesterius in the Group 2 Flying Childers next time and 5lb better off with the winner today; may have needed recent reappearance run at Newmarket and he's one to consider.
Improved with each 2yo run and made it 3-4 with Listed win at Ayr (5f, good) last September; very creditable third on reappearance in Listed fillies' race at Chelmsford (6f, AW) a fortnight ago, when she had a wide trip, and she's respected under a 3lb penalty.
Runner-up in the Listed Marygate over C&D last May then ran well at Royal Ascot before a Listed win at Naas; hasn't really threatened in Group races on her three runs since, however, and may be vulnerable once more.
