Rascallion
Made a bright start over hurdles and it was his stable debut when making all for a narrow success at Wincanton (1m7f, good) in March; those tactics could only bring an 11l-second at Taunton (about 2m, good to firm) nine days later but he impressed with some good leaps on the way round and the winner is promising; now makes handicap debut and this track should suit.

Magic Seven
Triple course winner, including maiden/novice hurdles (around 2m3f, good) in 2023; won off a reduced mark at Exeter (2m, good) in November but wasn't as good when third at Huntingdon and then finished tailed off at Cheltenham in December; ran as though his return from a break was needed when sixth over C&D 17 days ago and he should do much better this time.

Returned to form and exploited a reduced mark at Newcastle (2m1f, good) in March and similar form off 4lb higher when third at Hexham (2m, good to soft) since; enters calculations from the same mark.

Man Of The Sea
Prolific performer, mainly in Jersey, who knows how to get the job done in Britain too; running well this spring since coming back from a break, following up a Bath success on the Flat with a solid second over hurdles at Taunton (2m3f, good to firm) 16 days ago; likeable 9yo who'll appreciate the likely decent gallop.
