A few of these have chances. Gegenpressing overcame a wide draw to win this last year and he has to be considered from the same starting berth here. Rattletheonionbag, Spirit Of Eages and Little Mi Mi should go well but narrow preference is for LAKOTA LADY who stayed on nicely over 5f on her handicap debut at Bellewstown and she should be very well suited by this stiffer test. Eleven race maiden is 0-8 on turf; best effort a 3.5l third of 17 at Navan in May 2024 off 74; is 17lb lower now but her mark has fallen for a reason; beaten 5l when third of 7 over 5f in a maiden at Dundalk latest; more needed back in handicap company.
Six-race maiden is 0-2 on turf; ran well on last two starts for Eoghan O'Neill a year ago, including over 6f at this venue (good); course form is always a plus here but she lacks a run and is probably best watched on stable debut.
0-5 on turf; best effort came when a 4.25l third of 7 in a Tipperary maiden for her former yard on her second start (5f, soft); hasn't repeated that since and was pulled up in a Clonmel maiden hurdle when last seen in March; new headgear combination needs to have a dramatic effect.
Dual C&D winner is 4-47 on turf, including a win from a wide draw in this race last year on soft off 47; is 6lb above that last win but has won off higher marks in the past; should strip fitter for his comeback at Navan last month and handles good ground; claims.
0-7 on turf; best effort a 1.5l second of 15 at Navan off 54 last September (5f, good); is 1lb lower now and she shaped nicely enough on her seasonal reappearance at Navan last month (0.5l ahead of Gegenpressing); not without a chance.
Four-race maiden is 0-2 on turf; didn't cut much ice in maidens but clear promise on handicap debut at Bellewstown (5f, good) last month in a first-time tongue-tie (retained); this stiffer track will suit on that evidence; claims.
Not much impact in three AW maidens early last year for Kieran Cotter; similar story in two handicap runs for this yard, including when sixth on turf debut at Bellewstown last month (1.5l behind Lakota Lady); dropped 3lb for that but others make more appeal.
3-33 on the AW but just 1-17 on turf; all four of her wins have come over 7f, so this trip is a worry, and she hasn't won since landing a Dundalk claimer in October 2023; didn't show enough on her seasonal reappearance to make her of interest here.
1-22 on turf, the win coming in France in June 2022; hasn't shown much since moving to Ireland and finished last season badly out of form; drops in trip for his seasonal reappearance but he is hard to fancy.
Twenty one race maiden is 0-8 on turf; has gone close at Dundalk a couple of times this year and was only beaten 2l there on latest last month over 5f; 6f is fine and she is racefit from the AW; chance if she handles this track.
1-23 on turf, her sole win coming at Down Royal (5f, good) in July 2023; she is 5lb lower here and her comeback run at Dundalk (5f) wasn't devoid of promise (didn't get a clear run); should strip fitter for that and the step up in trip here is not a worry; shortlisted.
Long odds and well-beaten all four starts, including when midfield on handicap debut at Navan last July; 3lb lower now but hasn't been seen since and she is entitled to need this run; others appeal more.
Two-time AW winner is 0-4 on turf; shock 50-1 win under enterprising ride on penultimate over 6f at Dundalk off a mark of 40 under this jockey; another sound effort off revised mark over 7f on latest but his turf form is a concern.
Veteran is 5-72 on the AW but only 1-33 on turf and that win came on heavy ground in 2019; was well beaten in this last year off 47; 7lb lower here but he hasn't been showing enough in recent starts on the AW; tongue-tie returns; others preferred.
First reserve; 2-17 on turf but without a win since November 2021; not a bad effort latest when staying on for fifth of 13 over 7f at the Curragh; down 2lb for that and drops in trip but he needs more to win.
Second reserve; didn't show a lot in six maidens at 6f-7f for Dermot Weld last year; mild promise on second start for this yard in a 7f Curragh handicap latest; drop in trip should suit but he may need more respite from the handicapper.
Third reserve; 4-35 on the AW and 1-13 on turf; all five wins have come over 1m; is 5lb below last turf win at Leopardstown (1m, good) but has been out of form in four runs this year; best watched down in trip in first-time tongue-tie and blinkers.
