The standard set by Sea Baaeed and EL MATADOR is a demanding one for the other four runners to aim at and this looks a straight shootout between the pair. Sea Baaeed looked good on debut but he failed to quicken, albeit against good opposition, on his reappearance/turf debut and El Matador is fancied to have his measure in receipt of 7lb. Conditions will be different to those faced by the selection on his Nottingham debut, but that was still a promising start and he is open to considerable improvement this year.[Paul Smith]

Overcame a wide draw to make a winning debut at Wolverhampton (7f) in October; failed to quicken in a conditions event at Newmarket on last month's reappearance (7f, good); can leave that behind but he has to concede 7lb to a promising opponent.
Fine pedigree and he was sent off the 8-11 favourite for his Nottingham debut last October (1m, soft), drawing clear of the third but finding the ill-fated Falconer too strong; the pair were well clear and the fourth has recorded an RPR of 90 when winning since; open to improvement this year and, while this will be a different test, he holds strong claims.
Seventh foal; brother to 1m 2yo AW winner American Tale (RPR 69), half-brother to 6f/7f AW winner Tell'em Nowt (71); dam placed 6.5f/7f AW (72); will need to be above average to make a winning debut.
Half-brother to five winners and although he ran to just a modest level on his Wolverhampton debut (7f; 80-1) in December, the run did offer hope for the future; stiff task here though.
£8,000 yearling; second foal; half-sister to 5f/6f winner Keke (RPR 101); dam unraced half-sister to three winners; useful standard to aim at on debut and she's the sole filly in the field.
