Invitorio and Scatter Penny left the impression they would be sharper with their Pontefract reappearance behind them, while Don Pacifico (second choice) and Handcuffed have time on their side. Preference is for NOBLE VICTORY, who finished off on the front foot on his handicap debut at Kempton three weeks ago. This race could set up more favourably for him.[Paul Smith]

Often highly tried after her winning debut at Newbury, unplaced in Group 3s on three occasions; those runs sandwich a good fourth in a nursery at York's Ebor meeting off this mark; stable in fine form and she should be fine on AW; one to consider.
Won a 5.5f maiden at Bath by a wide margin last summer (firm ground); solid effort in a York nursery when last seen in September; improvement required for the switch to AW if he's to defy this mark.
Promise in three AW novice runs, winning over C&D on the second occasion; one of a few hard-luck stories in the big 3yo sprint at Newcastle on Good Friday, seeing no daylight from 2f out; dropped 1lb and he remains capable of better.
Showed promise on first three starts (on good to firm-soft) before winning a Newcastle novice (7f, AW) last September; down the field in York sales race last time but retains potential and reappears having been gelded; should have the pace to be fully effective at 6f.
Promise in his first three starts and he didn't need to improve to justify long odds-on favouritism over 5f here last month; won easily on that occasion but this will be a very different test.
Runner-up in her two runs in Britain (5f fillies' events at Thirsk and Ascot) last spring; won a fillies' Listed event in Italy (6f, good) last June but well held in France and Dubai since; others look more appealing on her handicap debut.
Didn't need to improve to win a 5f novice event at Lingfield last summer; neither handicap run since points to him being the answer here but it's notable that he was sent off joint favourite at Kempton on this month's return to action.
Steady progress on AW this year, winning at Chelmsford (6f) on second start; not beaten far into fourth on handicap debut at Kempton three weeks ago (Wheels Of Fire sixth) and that effort can be upgraded as he wasn't well positioned; capable of better granted a stronger pace to aim at; one to consider.
0-5 as 2yo but he was second in three of those starts; disappointed when a strong favourite on his sole nursery run at Ayr in September; gelded over the winter; Tapeta fine, but drawn wide and others have less to prove.
Prominent racer; wasn't winning out of turn when making all in a 6f handicap at Nottingham two weeks ago, his 12th attempt; 5lb higher mark, higher class of opposition and presence of other pace influences could all count against him this time.
Ready winner of a 6f maiden at Newcastle in February and also ran well in a C&D handicap one month later; not so good at Pontefract 19 days ago but returning to AW should be advantageous.
Won her first two starts as a 2yo (6f, good and good to firm) but unplaced in four handicap starts; stayed on nicely from an unpromising position at Pontefract 19 days ago, her first outing for five months; could well build on that.
Made all in a 6f novice (soft) at Redcar last autumn; ridden more patiently at Pontefract on this month's return to action and that close fourth (just in front of Scatter Penny) was promising; stable also runs Mr Fantastic.
Failed to win as a 2yo but there were some good runs, notably when finishing off strongly from a poor position at Kempton in October (cheekpieces first time); gelded since; can win races off this mark.
