Good cases can be made for most of these. Felicie Du Maquis remains lightly raced for her age and may progress again from her Ludlow defeat of Gaye Legacy in February, but top of the list is I AM THE MOON, who put in a good front-running shift in a competitive 2m4f novices' handicap at Newbury last month and looks interesting on her first attempt at 3m. Star Walking and Lilting Verse also make appeal.[Chris Wilson]

Low-mileage 10yo who came from off the pace to beat Gaye Legacy at Ludlow (3m, soft) in February, her second start after a long layoff, and is 3-6 over hurdles; still unexposed over this sort of trip and will be favoured by the forecast rain; likely contender.
Dual hurdle winner last season (2m7f/3m) and returned from ten-month break with two good efforts in February, latterly when second to Felicie Du Maquis at Ludlow (3m, soft); will probably be in the shake-up again.
Runner-up in two chases last month, the latter here (3m, good); still on a workable mark for this switch back to hurdling and has a big role to play if the ground is no slower than good to soft.
Lightly raced 6yo who won Wincanton novice (2m5f, soft) in December and bounced back from disappointing handicap debut when fourth in Doncaster Listed race (3m, good to soft; first-time tongue-tie) last month; probably still has potential; needs to be taken seriously.
Ended 2024 with wins at Ascot (3m, good) and over C&D (heavy); weakened on run-in when fifth at Chepstow (2m7f, soft) in February and needs to kick on again to overcome current mark, but still enters calculations.
Just 1-5 over hurdles but ran game race from the front before fading into fourth in valuable Grade 2 novices' handicap at Newbury (2m4f, good) last month; could take some catching if suited by this step up in trip.
Started off in handicaps with two good-ground wins in October (2m7f/2m4f) but is yet to make further progress; reportedly outpaced throughout before keeping on steadily for fourth at Ludlow (2m5f, good) last month; ought to be better suited by today's trip but others have more pressing claims.
Scored off this mark over fences at Ludlow (3m, good) in October and ran quite well when fourth in 2m5f hurdle there (good to soft) in February, but the addition of cheekpieces did not appear to help much two starts ago and she was again below par (without headgear) last month.
