This is tricky with doubts about the fitness of a few of the more likely ones and how the ground will ride. The Easterbys' two runners Casilli and Catton Lady are both worth a look but CROWN'S LADY gets a tentative vote on her debut for a new yard. Mystical Maria was suited by this sort of trip when winning at Carlisle and also has claims.[Emily Weber]

Winless since 2yo debut and this is her stiffest stamina test to date but she stayed 1m well when third at Redcar last May and did her best work late over the extended 7f here (good to firm; also acts on soft) in June; down slightly in the weights and can go well after a break; has claims.
Has won on good to firm and good to soft; losing run goes back to 2022 but she's won five times here, including on reappearance in the 2021 running; seen just four times in 2024 but certainly capable of having a say.
Lightly raced filly; well held in three of four handicaps but she came through late to win at Carlisle (1m1f, soft) in the other and a return to this sort of trip can suit; no surprise to see a revival.
Won three handicaps for Craig Lidster in 2024, at Ripon (1m, good to soft) and on AW (7f); just 2lb higher than for the latest win and she didn't seem to have a problem with the stiff finish at Hamilton over this trip (heavy) in September; sold 34,000gns in December; new yard going well.
Kept to 7f when racing on turf in 2024, winning at Brighton, and although she made a winning start for this yard over 1m on AW in December she hasn't looked to be wanting a stiffer test than that in two subsequent runs; tongue-tie replaced with refitted cheekpieces.
Runner-up in the 2023 running; had a superb autumn with three wins at 1m2f and 1m4f (heavy and soft) but 11lb higher than for the first of them and no surprise if she needs this, now reappearing minus cheekpieces.
Two 1m wins on soft as a 3yo and retained all her ability in a light 2024; has won on her comeback and the forecast rain will be welcome but her mark is still on the high side.
Turf wins on good and good to firm (acts on good to soft); back on much the same mark as the latest of them, at Ripon (1m2f) in August, but she doesn't have a strong reappearance record.
Mostly in good form on AW over the winter but her win over this trip came in classified company; did win on turf in 2023 but this is her first run on grass since July that year.
In good form on AW before failing to stay 1m4f in January; not out of it on the form of a 1m win at Pontefract (good to firm) last July but she didn't fare well on turf subsequently and is still 4lb higher than the win.
Hint of ability in two of her qualifying runs but soundly beaten in all three handicaps, most recently for new yard on Newcastle AW (7f); hood refitted there, cheekpieces now added; looks one to watch for now.
