Topweight PRIVATE ISLAND got up close home to make a winning handicap debut at Lingfield last week, despite not looking particularly well suited by that sharp 7f, and she can improve again over this straight mile. Appleblossomwhite and Herkeios (preferred in that order) also arrive in good form, while several of the others remain unexposed.[Chris Wilson]

Well-bred filly who led close home to win by a nose on handicap debut at Lingfield (7f, AW) eight days ago; could easily have a lot more to offer over today's longer trip and needs to be taken very seriously.
Weakened into fifth when tried in first-time cheekpieces (now removed) at Wolverhampton in November, but had gone very close on nursery debut at Newcastle (also 7f, AW) a few days earlier and is open to improvement over 1m this year.
Showed some promise for Tom Ward last year, but disappointed when upped to 1m for AW nursery in October and has a point to prove on seasonal/stable debut.
Sold out of Richard Fahay stable for 18,000gns soon after disappointing nursery debut in October (7f, AW), but remains unexposed and it will be interesting to see what the Kublers can do with him; gelded in November.
Improving filly who scored in good style at Kempton in February, her second handicap, and lost only only by a head at Southwell (also 1m, AW) last month; major player if suited by today's switch to turf.
Unexposed after only three runs but made low-key seasonal debut in 7f Wolverhampton novice last month and will need to take a big step forward to overcome his opening handicap mark.
Runner-up in consecutive 1m AW handicaps in January but has been below that form lately and is now 0-8; cheekpieces removed after one use; makes turf debut today.
Raced a bit too freely and finished only ninth of 12 (albeit not beaten far) on last month's handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f, AW); upped in trip and fitted with cheekpieces here.
Placed for James Ferguson in January and on two of first three starts for new stable, more recently when close second at Newcastle (1m, AW) a week ago; nudged up 1lb for this turf debut but can make his presence felt again.
Kept on well for clearcut success at Newcastle (7f, AW) a fortnight ago, his 13th start; in good heart and well worth another crack at 1m but takes on a host of unexposed rivals here.
Made underhwelming nursery debut in first-time blinkers at Wolverhampton (9.4f) in December but his fourth in cheekpieces there (8.6f) in February was much better and further progress is possible.
