Morfee
Came back to some form when runner-up to a progressive rival over C&D last month and didn't appear to stay the 3m4f in the Sussex National last time; this track seems to bring out the best in him and he's worth considering with the 3lb claimer booking looking a positive.

Lost his way last season but well handicapped as a result; back to some form this term and was only narrowly touched off when runner-up at Fakenham (3m5f, good to soft) in December; failed to build on that effort when pulled up at Bangor recently but this looks easier and he remains well treated.

I See You Well
Five-time C&D winner but winless since 2022 and the signs this season, including on this track, haven't been positive; has dropped to a dangerous mark should first-time blinkers spark a revival.

Three hurdle wins; not much went to plan on chasing debut but his Sedgefield third (3m2f, soft) was good and he wasn't beaten far when attempting 3m5f at Fakenham ten days ago; peak efforts have come on a sound surface but he acts on soft and is back on a good mark; has more to offer over fences.

Hill Of Tara
Won four of his first five handicap hurdles (2m4f-3m1f) on slow surfaces last winter; form tailed off later and although he was a respectable fifth on his chase debut at Leicester in October he was pulled up there 11 days ago; has something to prove after that.

Consistency has never been his strong point but he's a capable veteran on his day as he showed when winning at Fontwell (3m3f, heavy) last month; back up 6lb and not ruled out with a promising 7lb claimer booked.
