Point winner CARRIG KATE has been a good second on both hurdle starts and, with the drop back in trip a possible plus, is taken to get off the mark under rules. Jo Coko is the stand-out danger on form but perhaps the main threat will come from point winner Double Digits, who is open to considerable improvement on his second start back from an absence. Lucinda Russell's pair King Of Answers and St Olan's Well are other possible improvers.[Ben Hutton]

Weakened into well-beaten fourth on last month's rules debut in a maiden hurdle here (2m1f, good to soft); however, he was returning from a long absence and the form of his Irish maiden point win (3m, soft) in November 2023 reads well; no surprise if he's a serious force today.
Won two British points (2m, good to soft) early last year; may win races under rules but he was a well-beaten third of six at Leicester last month (2m4f, heavy; 28-1) and could be one for further down the line.
Won Irish maiden point (3m, heavy) on debut last February and has run well to be placed this winter on his first two rules starts (3m, soft); different trip today but he's still a leading player.
Runner-up in Irish maiden point (3m, good to yielding) in May 2023 and kept on for fair third in Bangor bumper (2m, soft) that October; after missing all of last year he was a soundly beaten sixth over C&D (good to soft) last month but may have needed the run; each-way possible.
Second of six on hurdle debut at Catterick on New Year's Day (2m3f, soft; no match for the winner) and another fair run when fourth at Newcastle (2m4f, good to soft) last time; however, improvement is needed if he's to pose a serious threat today.
Third foal; dam well beaten in bumper/2m6f hurdle, half-sister to bumper/2m2f hurdle winner Flaygray (RPR 109), out of point winner; probably best watched on debut.
Encouraging second on debut in Irish maiden point (3m, yielding) in November 2023 and it was his first run since when a promising third at Ayr (2m4f, soft) last month; in good hands to progress and he's not ruled out.
Irish mares' maiden point winner (3m, soft to heavy) who has finished second on both hurdle starts (2m6f/2m7f, heavy/good to soft), most recently beaten just a neck at Bangor; has shaped as though she may benefit from this drop back in trip for the time being; strong claims.
