This looks a strong race for the grade with Annaf and Jasour (second choice) having been placed in Group 1 events. The latter came to hand early last year and a wind operation since he was last seen could see him bounce back to his best. That said, JARRAAF was a major improver when dropped back to 6f last summer and he should be capable of further progress after just six starts.[Paul Smith]

Smart sprinter who landed a bumper payday in Saudi Arabia last February (6.8f, good to firm); solid effort when third in a Haydock Listed event two weeks ago (7f, good to firm); key player provided they don't dawdle early.
Improved for the return to 6f last summer, comfortably winning two handicaps at Ascot before a fine second in a Group 3 (soft ground) when last seen 231 days ago; still has low mileage and should make a bold bid for last year's winning stable.
Group 2 winner as a 2yo; improved at three, winning an Ascot Group 3 (6f, good to soft) on his reappearance before finishing third in the Commonwealth Cup; no further progress in Group 1 company afterwards but he's had wind surgery prior to his return and this is weaker than he is accustomed to; stable won this in 2019 and 2022.
Failed to win last year but he ran some good races in defeat, notably third at Ascot (6f, soft; Group 3) in October; finished behind Jarraaf there, however, and lacks that rival's potential.
Unbeaten in three 7f runs as a 2yo (AW and heavy); useful over 7f last season but he produced a big personal best dropped to 6f in the autumn, gamely landing a soft-ground handicap at Doncaster off a BHA mark of 101; not so good in Listed company when last seen and 6f on good to firm might prove an insufficient test.
Tough filly who landed two Listed races last season; hasn't quite recaptured her best in two runs this season and this looks a hot race for the grade; apprentice unable to claim his 5lb either.
Progressive in her first two seasons, winning a Listed race in France last summer (7f, good to soft); down the field in two runs this time around and she's in deeper this time.
Fast-ground maiden win at Glorious Goodwood last summer; improved for the addition of a visor when finishing second of ten in an AW Group 3 last September; less good twice since and he's opposable on balance.
