Springtime Promise
Won Grade 2 novice hurdle in February 2024 (2m4f, soft) but chasing didn't go to plan during light campaign last season and she was well beaten when upped to 3m1f for hurdle return in January; this race is much easier but she's not yet proven on good ground and her current ability is hard to gauge; had wind op in February.

Mermaids Cave
Progressive mare who scored by 4l in first-time cheekpieces at Huntingdon (2m3f, good) this month and is now 6-18 over hurdles; not yet proven over this far but has won here before; must be considered.

Musique De Fee
3-5 since cheekpieces were fitted in March, the latest win gained in four-runner race at Hereford (3m1f, good) a fortnight ago; did that very easily and latest 6lb rise does not look excessive; good chance.

Mellificent
Promising novice at up to 3m for Jonjo O'Neill in 2023-24 season but well beaten in two handicaps for new stable this year (2m5f/2m4f), the latter at Hexham a fortnight ago; needs to get career back on track.

Robyndeglory
Five-time hurdle winner; inconsistent for current stable since autumn and comes here after 30l defeat over fences three weeks ago but was denied clear run at crucial stage before keeping on for third in 20-runner Cork handicap (3m, soft) two starts ago and will be fine on the faster ground here.

Vroomoz Eile
0-13 in Irish points but came good under rules at third attempt, in Carlisle novice (2m3f, soft) in February; not sure to be suited by the faster ground here but could easily have more to offer in staying handicaps.

Shantou Sunset
Returned from layoff with low-key run in February but was placed twice under Leah Noreci here last summer (3m1f/2m6f) and seems very versatile regarding ground; can't be ignored.
